Loom has been moved upstairs and I’m back to weaving :)

Oh, this cute bag was instantly claimed by my own little miss C. It was fun to do a little embroidery – brought back memories of my childhood – guess it’s been quite a while since I’ve done any of that :)

Our space is ready to go. It’s a beautiful day for a polo match :)

Woven Melodies will be at the Cobra Polo Classic with Jupiter Clayworks tomorrow. The event benefits the Ronald McDonald House of Spokane. I think it will be a lot of fun!!

I had a chance to finish this scarf last week. Whatcha think? I like the beads in the fringe.

Had a great time shopping for beads with a great friend today! I’m planning to add beads to the twisted fringe of this scarf when the time comes …

This one is various reds with a black warp.

I’m in love with yarns that have a gradual color change. This is a black bamboo warp with a weft of Regia hand-dye effect. I’m thinking that it’s going to be a beautiful scarf. Regia is wool, polyamide and a touch of acrylic. It’s made for making cool color changing socks …. Or beautiful woven scarves :)

I wish that I took better notes … How much warp did I use? How much did this shrink after washing? Oh well …. Who needs notes when they can do math over and over and over ….. Ugh!

We had a great time – great weather, great food, and great people!! Thanks for dropping by and we hope you enjoy your handmade treasures if you bought some. We sure enjoyed creating them!
